Branford Nursing Home Fined: Report

BRANFORD, CT — Branford Hills Health Care Center paid a $3,000 fine in October 2017 after nurses "failed to initiate CPR promptly" when a resident was found unresponsive, reports the Connecticut Health Investigative Team.

The resident suffered from schizophrenia and depression and was found with a bag covering their head, C-HIT reports. A facility official told C-HIT that they dispute the state's findings.
