The Branford Police Department received a number of awards this week that recognized the department's fundraising efforts for Special Olympics Connecticut.

  • The Connecticut Police Chief Association Award, first place in the state for all cities and towns.
  • The Joel Kent Award, first place for its Tip-A-Cop Event at Lenny's Indian Head Inn.
