UPDATE: Branford Police Ask For Public's Help in Finding Bank Robbery Suspect
The robbery occurred just before noon Monday.

Branford Police detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect that was responsible for a bank robbery that occurred today just after noon at TD Bank, 1003 West Main Street, police said Monday afternoon.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 30 - 40 years old, 6’ – 6’2” tall, very short hair or balding, wearing a baseball cap (green front with light colored mesh on rear), a short sleeved grey colored tee-shirt and blue cargo styled shorts with sneakers and white socks, police said.
After exiting the bank, the suspect left the area on foot, heading westbound and ran through a line of tall shrubbery to the adjacent properties, police said.

K-9 Officers from Connecticut State Police, North Branford and East Haven Police assisted Branford Officers in attempting to locate the suspect.
