Branford Police Seek Witnesses To Weekend Crash & Warn Of Scam

Police seek witnesses to a Friday night E. Main St./Windmill Hill Road crash and caution about a scam asking people to buy BPD merchandise.

BRANFORD, CT — Police are seeking witnesses to a Friday night crash on Main Street. And are also cautioning folks about a scam.

"Last night around 8pm, a motor vehicle crash occurred in the area of East Main Street and Windmill Hill Road. Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident can contact Officer Coutu at 203-481-4241 ext. 494 or via email at acoutu@branfordpolice.com. Thank you."

Police also warn about this scam:

"We have received inquiries regarding the solicitation of sweatshirts/merchandise with our logo for sale. Several accounts have been commenting on our posts and photos.
