At Girl Scouts of Connecticut’s Annual Meeting, Branford resident Erica Wardle was recognized for her exemplary leadership and service to Girl Scouting with the Spirit of the Dragonfly Award.

Girl Scouts of Connecticut’s Annual Meeting was held April 24 at the Glastonbury Riverfront Community Center. At the meeting, Girl Scouts of Connecticut recognized a number of volunteers, members, and staff for their service, and elected its new Board of Directors.

The award, now in its second year of existence, recognizes an adult volunteer, or volunteers, who exemplify the Girl Scout Mission, live by the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and demonstrate a commitment to providing older girl members with the opportunity to develop through guidance, mentoring, and coaching in support of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
