Branford Resident Wins Big Powerball Prize

BRANFORD/EAST HAVEN, CT — Two East Haven residents and a Branford resident won some recent big lottery prizes, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

On Feb. 21, Florina Perez Jimenez, of Branford, won $150K playing the Powerball. She purchased the lucky ticket from E J News - 2 in Trumbull.

On Feb. 23, Karen Rolli, of East Haven, won $20,000 playing the 20X Cash 3Rd Edition game. She purchased the ticket from Krauszer 636 in New Haven.

Also on Feb. 23, Dorothy Franco, of East Haven, won $10,000 by playing the 10X Cash 12Th Edition game. She purchased the winning ticket from West Rock Wine & Liquor in New Haven.
