Branford Road Race Hosting 2nd Annual Healthy Brain Workshop This Saturday at Branford High School

The Branford Road Race invites you to the 2nd annual Healthy Brain Workshop for Parkinson’s Disease on Saturday, June 10! Senator Dick Blumenthal will attend our event to show his support. The workshop takes place at Branford High School from 10am-2pm. The event is presented by Medtronic, St. Jude Medical and Connecticut Advocates for Parkinson’s to discuss the most cutting edge research and practical knowledge available today about Parkinson’s Disease.

The workshop features lectures from eight experts in the field of Parkinson’s Disease and a Q&A. Lunch & refreshments are provided. The workshop is free to attend! RSVP is required. The Father’s Day road race takes place on Sunday, June 18. Race organizers expect a crowd of over 3,000 participants to take part in the 5-Mile Road Race, 2-Mile Fitness Walk and 1-Mile Kids Fun Run. The race is one of the country’s largest 5-mile races and one of New England’s top running events. The race kicks off the final day of the Branford Festival, a community celebration that attracts thousands.
