Branford Schools Calendar: Must-Know Dates for Winter 2016-17

BRANFORD, CT — We're getting closer to the midpoint of the school year somehow even though it feels like school just began. With that in mind, we wanted to share with you some important dates for the remainder of the year beginning with the upcoming holiday break.

Here are important dates for the remainder of the 2016-17 school year in the Branford Public School System.

Dec. 23 (early dismissal)

Winter break: Dec-26 to Jan. 2 (school resumes Jan. 3)

Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday (school closed): Jan. 16

Jan. 25 (early dismissal)

Presidents Day/ Winter Break (school closed): Feb. 20. 21

February 28 (early release day)

March 15 (early release day)

April 5 (early release day)

Spring Break: April 10-14, which includes Good Friday

May 17 (early release day)

Memorial Day (school closed): May 29

Last day of school: June 2
