Branford Schools Ranked Among the Best in Connecticut

The Branford school system was ranked the 12th best New Haven Metro Area school system out of 31 schools in the region according to 2015 Niche Rankings. Overall, Branford schools were ranked the 60th best in the state of Connecticut.

Branford received an A- for its academics, it earned a B- for health and safety, teachers received a A-, resources and facilities scored a B, extracurricular activities scored a A- and sports received a B+.

According to state standards, 90% of students in Branford are considered proficient in math and/or reading.
