Branford Police Searching for 'Smash and Grab' Burglary Suspect
Police are asking the public for help in solving the overnight burglaries reported in town.
Branford, CT - Police are asking the public for assistance in finding the person responsible for two commercial "smash and grab" burglaries overnight.
The businesses were broken into by a white male, mid to late 40s, curly black hair with a distinct bald spot, police said.
He appears to be under 6 feet tall and approximately 240 pounds. He was wearing a short sleeved white tee shirt, light in color sweat pants, with white sneakers. The individual was connected to all scenes by video surveillance.

Suspect in question used a green commercial flatbed truck, which has been reported stolen out of East Haven, police said.
The truck belongs to East Haven Building Supplies, and is believed to be a 2008 Kenwood 300 FB, Bearing CT REG K66596.
