Branford Sports Hall of Fame Member Scott Jenkin Dies: Report

Branford, CT - Scott Jenkin, who is a member of the Branford Sports Hall of Fame, died at the age of 54 at his East Haven home, reports Dave Phillips for GameTimeCT.

Jenkin served as the former assistant football coach and co-head coach of the boys track program at Branford High School.

He was a graduate of Branford High School and is credited with helping the football team win the Class MM state championship in 2005, GameTimeCT reports.

Jenkin also worked at the high school as an in-school suspension advisor.
