Branford Starbucks Hopes to Serve Beer and Wine: Report
Starbucks across the country is looking to generate more revenue by offering new items beyond its traditional offerings.
BRANFORD, CT - The Branford Starbucks located at 6 North Main Street by Exit 53 is applying for a liquor license and hopes to serve beer and wine by July in the evening, the Branford Seven reports.
Starbucks is looking to expand its revenue sources as more than 70 percent of sales are completed prior to 2 p.m., the Branford Seven reports.
Other Starbucks in another states are planning the same thing. In Illinois, for example, Starbucks there will feature seven to 10 local craft beers and about six different wines. Wines will coat $7 to $15. In Illinois alcohol will be available from 5 to 10 p.m.
