Branford Traffic Stop Leads To Chase and a State Trooper's Injury
The incident occurred Friday evening and began in Branford but moved to other towns as the suspect drove off.

A Connecticut State Trooper was slightly injured during a chase Friday night that began as a traffic stop in Branford, the New Haven Register reports.
Branford police say the incident began as a traffic stop in town around 6 p.m. but the suspect took off. State Police tried to stop the car but it hit the cruiser leading to damage to the cruiser and a minor injury to the state trooper.
The driver of the car was stopped later on, but no other details were publicly released. The chase spawned several towns including Hamden where the car was dumped, the Register reports.
