Branford Train Station Meeting Scheduled Due to Ongoing Concerns
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday evening and state DOT officials will be present to address residents.

BRANFORD, CT – Senator Ted Kennedy, Jr. (D-Branford), Representative Lonnie Reed, and Branford First Selectman James Cosgrove have invited town residents to attend a briefing by the Department of Transportation (DOT) on the Branford Train Station project.
Improvements to Branford Train station were scheduled to have been completed last year, but the project has been plagued by setbacks. Kennedy, Reed and Cosgrove have received numerous calls and emails from town residents about the status of construction at the train station.
These local leaders scheduled a briefing from DOT on the train station, where they will express the concerns of their constituents and seek answers on the troubled project. They recently decided that this meeting should be opened to all town residents. DOT representatives will be available to provide information and answer questions on the current status of work at the train station.
