Branford Woman is America's 129th Wealthiest Person
Forbes once again compiled its list of the country's wealthiest top 400 Americans.
The 129th wealthiest person in American lives right here in Branford, CT, according to Forbes annual list of the wealthiest 400 Americans list it compiled.
Karen Pritzker, 57, of Branford is worth $4.3 billion according to Forbes, and she is one of seven Connecticut residents to make the top 400 list.
Most of the wealthiest Americans from Connecticut reside in Greenwich, one in Danbury and of course Pritzker.

The wealthiest Connecticut resident is Ray Dalio, of Greenwich, who is worth $15.3 billion and is ranked No. 29 overall.
According to Forbes, Pritzker made her fortune in hotels and investments. She inherited a portion of the Chicago-based Pritzker family fortune. Additionally, Pritzker and her husband, Michael Vlock, have invested in Apple and and biotech companies, Forbes writes.
