Branford Woman Charged with Burglarizing Hamden Home
Hamden Police have arrested two people in connection to a forcible burglary in which jewelry and electronics were stolen.

HAMDEN, CT – A Branford woman and a West Haven man have been charged with burglarizing a Hamden home and stealing jewelry and electronic equipment, according to police.
Hamden Police responded to a Hepburn Road residence on January 15 on the report of a residential forcible burglary, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said investigation revealed that entry was gained by breaking a window pane, which was located in a rear door.

Once inside, the individual(s) responsible stole jewelry and electronic equipment.
Detective Joseph Liguori conducted an extensive investigation, which led to the application of arrest warrants for Lucia Piscitello and William Healy.

On March 2, Sergeant Michael Nawrocki arrested Piscitello and Healy, who were traveling in a motor vehicle on Hartford Turnpike, according to Smith. They were promptly transported to police headquarters.
Hamden police arrested Piscitello, 31, of 43 Berger Street, Branford, and Healy, 51, of 36 Nashawena Avenue, West Haven. They were both charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree-larceny and conspiracy.
Piscitello and Healy, who were both detained on a court-ordered $25,000 bond, are scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on March 16.
