Branford's Fireworks Details Announced

Branford fireworks are scheduled to be held over Branford Point on Saturday, June 27 at 9 p.m. at 1 Harbor Street.

Shuttle buses begin at 5:30 p.m. and will pick up at Branford High School, Train Station and the Cherry Hill Lot.

Branford officials have decided the best route to generate enough funds to put on the fireworks would be to have residents donate what they can, preferably at least $1, the Shore Publishing reported.

The $30,000 show is already two-thirds of the way accounted for by a $20,000 fund approved by the Town of Branford, but the other $10,000 is needed to get the display off the ground, and town officials need residents’ help, the Shore Publishing reported.
