Branford's Tiny Cop: A Year Ago, Seth's Make-A-Wish Was Granted

The 4-year-old's wish was to take an RV camping trip with his family. WPLR's Chaz and AJ, Make-A-Wish and the BPD helped make it happen.

Branford police posted to Facebook Friday to share an update on Seth, and according to his mother, he's doing well. Oh, and he wants to be a police officer.

BRANFORD, CT — Break out the Kleenex.

In April 2021, WPLR's Chaz and AJ, teamed up with "Make-A-Wish" Connecticut and raised $10,000 in a day to grant 4-year-old Seth's wish. Born with a heart issue that required surgery five days after being born, his wish was to take a camping trip down south in an RV with his family. To make that happen for Seth, $10,000 needed to be raised. And that's what Chaz and AJ did.

AJ donned a Godzilla costume, a Seth favorite, and spent the day with Seth and his family and friends, including Branford police. The latter a big highlight for the boy. So much so, now, he's considering a career in law enforcement.
