Man Held On $150,000 Bond In Branford Burglary

Police said Zakariya Ibrahim Doar knew the victim he's alleged to have robbed this past summer. He's facing weapons and burglary charges.

BRANFORD, CT — Police charged a Bridgeport man with weapons, burglary and other felony charges in connection with a July Branford break-in.

Police said Zakariya Ibrahim Doar was arrested on a warrant for the burglary at a local home where he knew the victim.

Doar, 24, of City View Avenue, was charged with violating pistol permit regulations, stealing a firearm, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree larceny and second-degree failure to appear in court.

Doar was held on $150,000 bond.
