While we're on the subject, fall leaf collection begins in October. Leaves must be placed in brown paper leaf bags or loose in cans, never in plastic bags, and placed near household garbage and recycling the night before regular collection days. When there is a scheduled leaf collection that falls on a holiday, they will be picked up on the following day.
