Business Finds New Home in Branford: Report

BRANFORD, CT — Hallock's Appliances will relocate its warehouse and outlet store to 174 Cedar Street in Branford, which is the former Taylor Rental space, according to the New Haven Register's Mark Zaretsky.

Hallock's had to move from its current home in West Haven in order to make way for an upscale outlet mall.

Hallock's officials had been looking for a new site for some time and considered West Haven and nearby communities but ended up picking a location in Branford, the Register reports.

West Haven officials say they are still hopeful and optimistic that Hallock's will find a suitable location in West Haven at some point. The Hallock's location in West Haven at 1 Main Street remains open for now. No date has been picked for when Hallock's would open at its new location in Branford.
