Calendar Alert: 3rd Annual Branford Community Foundation Charity Golf Tourney Returns In September

BRANFORD, CT — The Branford Community Foundation will host its third annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Pine Orchard Yacht and Country Club in Branford, Sept. 29.

Last year’s sold-out tournament raised over $36,000 for the foundation's mission and operations.

"Our annual golf tournament has become a vital part of the fundraising we do to support the work of the foundation, particularly the back-office and operations functions essential to keeping the foundation running smoothly," BCF Executive Director Liza Janssen Petra said. "We are grateful to all
the players, sponsors, donors, and supporters who have participated in the tournament the past two years, and hope this third year will be another successful, impactful event."

Tournament day schedule of events:

10:30 a.m. Registration Opens, Putting Practice and driving range open.
11:15 a.m. Lunch
12:00 p.m. Tournament Begins, Shotgun Start
5:00 p.m. Dinner, Awards, and Prizes
7:00 p.m. Closing

Teams consist of four players, and lunch and dinner are included in registration. For those unable to participate as a golfer, but would still like to attend the event, tickets for dinner can also be purchased now.

There are also a range of sponsorship opportunities available, which include prominent sponsor recognition opportunities on the day of the tournament.
