The SHORELINE VILLAGE Zoom Senior Chair Yoga is now on Wednesdays starting May 21 at 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM.Yoga is particularly beneficial for stress management. Each movement focuses on exercising and stretching the limbs, releasing endorphins to reduce stress, and ensuring you focus on the breath. Improved balance and strength are also benefits of this class.
Mindfulness in yoga comes from focusing on the passage of breath throughout the body and following through with the movement of each pose. Concentrating on your breath can relieve the stress and anxieties of managing your senior life.
