Harrison House Museum, Barn and Garden Tour

Event Details

124 Main St, Branford, CT, 06405

Step back nearly 300 years in time! Join us for a guided tour of the Harrison House, built in 1724 by Nathaniel Harrison and beautifully restored by architectural historian J. Frederick Kelly in 1938.

See hand-hewn oak beams, a two-and-a-half-century-old hall fireplace, four-poster and rope beds, a Linsley family dowry bedspread, and seventeenth-century Branford-made chests. Visit our exhibit room of local artifacts and memorabilia, then stroll the two-acre grounds, 1890s barn, and colonial gardens carefully tended by the Branford Garden Club.

A National Register of Historic Places property, the Harrison House is one of Branford's true treasures. Come explore it with us!
