To mark America's 250th Anniversary, illustrator, author and Advanced
Cicerone Em Sauter will give an illustrated presentation discussing the
role of beer and brewing in American history. Starting from the
Pilgrims landing on Plymouth Rock (because they were out of beer!) to
the modern craft brewery movement and the beers we love today, beer has
been woven through the fabric of American history.
About the Presenter:
Em Sauter is an award-winning cartoonist, international beer judge, Advanced Cicerone, public speaker and founder of Pints and Panels, a website she launched in 2010 to focus on visual drinks education. A Connecticut resident, Em has authored four books on beer and is currently working on a fifth book about whiskey.
Registration is required to attend this IN-PERSON event.
