Car Break-Ins, Smashed Car Windows In West Side Of Town Reported: PD
Thursday night, some cars in the Turtle Bay, Gentile Road, Florence Road and Greens Condo areas were broken into, police said.
BRANFORD, CT — A number of cars were broken into, and had their windows smashed on the west side of Branford Thursday night, police said.
Police are encouraging residents to "stay vigilant."
"Please do not leave valuables in your cars," Branford police said in a Facebook post. "If you hear or see something suspicious, please do not hesitate to contact us."

Police are also asking folks that live in the Turtle Bay, Gentile Road, Florence Road or Greens Condos areas who might have video of the break-ins or attempted break-ins from Thursday night to "please reach out." Contact police at (203) 481-4241.
But a number of people who had their car windows smashed said that there were no valuables in sight.

Another posted this Ring video of what appears to be a person checking to see if a vehicle was locked at 2 a.m.
In neighboring East Haven, a similar situation Thursday night. Police Capt. Joseph M. Murgo told Patch that it's possible the same culprits are responsible for car break-ins, and smashed windows, in the center of town and the Silver Sands area. Murgo said East Haven police have identified a possible suspect vehicle as a black Acura.
