Car Dealership in Branford Pitches 30,000-Square-Foot New Building: Report

The Inland Wetlands Commission has scheduled a public hearing on the proposal.

BRANFORD, CT — A new 30,000-square-foot building is being proposed by the owner of Premier Subaru at 155, 165 and 175 N. Main Street, the Branford Eagle reports.

The proposal is across the street from the dealerships headquarters at 150 N. Main St. If approved the project would include 30 service bays, a new museum celebrating Subaru's history in the United States and more.

Existing buildings at 155 and 165 N. Main Street would be demolished and replaced with the new 30,000-square-foot building. An office building at 175 N. Main Street would remain, the Branford Eagle reports.

The Inland Wetlands Commission will hold a public hearing on Nov. 10 on the proposal.

The Kia dealership at 165 N. Main Street is being relocated to 205 N. Main Street.
