Christmas Wishes for a Happy New Year from ESCA
East Shoreline Catholic Academy students share their joyful Christmas Celebration in Reflective Prayer and Song!
East Shoreline Catholic Academy (ESCA) students presented Christmas in Prayer and Song to ESCA families and friends on Friday, December 20, 2019. Eighth grade student Erin played the role of Mary. Erin is the fourth member of the Carta family to have played the role of Mary in Christmas Pageants past (The first three Carta family members played Mary at Our Lady of Mercy School in Madison, and now the fourth at East Shoreline Catholic Academy!)
ESCA’s Children’s Choir began with an opening hymn: “The Whole World is Waiting for Love”. Mrs. Panzo, Principal and Fr. Stephen Sledesky (St. George Church, Guilford) began with a prayer and a lighting of the Advent Candle. In between songs middle school students read gospel passages depicting the Annunciation, The Birth of our Savior, and The Visit of the Magi.
Each grade teamed together with another grade to present the following songs:
