UPDATE: Yale New Haven Health Opens Branford Urgent Care Center Location Wednesday
The ribbon will be cut the following day, Thursday at 1, on YNHH's 22nd urgent care center.
BRANFORD, CT — The latest Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care location opens Wednesday on East Main Street in Branford.
Yale has nearly 21, soon to be 23, centers in Connecticut and one in New York.
YNHH said in a news release that its "walk‑in clinic will be open seven days a week to provide convenient, affordable care for patients of all ages—no appointment required and no hospital fees at this location."

When to visit an urgent care center? Yale New Haven Health states that it provides care for a range of conditions, including flu symptoms, sprains, school physicals, and other non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries.
The center will provide 24/7 virtual care, "so you can talk to a Yale New Haven Health provider anytime, from anywhere."
