Community Prayer Service Tonight

“…Stop for a while with your servant…Rest under this tree. I’ll get some food to refresh you on your way, since your travels have brought you across my path.” Genesis 18:3-5

The ministers of First Congregational Church, Branford announce a service of prayer and support offered in response to the tragedy in Orlando, FL. The service will be held on Wednesday at 6:30p.m. in Walker Chapel which is located in the parking circle, to the right of the main steps of the sanctuary, at 1009 Main Street on the Branford green.

With a desire to share in the hospitality that Abraham offered to the three men who appeared at the door of his tent in the heat of the day, we extend a sincere invitation. All are welcome to join us as we hold space for grief, anger, frustration or hurts of any kind. We lift up the victims of this act of terror and all who have been affected by losses due to gun violence.
