Congrats! to Brittney Kenney of Branford

Kenney was hired as an assistant women's basketball coach at Trinity Colleny.

Trinity College has hired Brittney Kenney (Branford, Conn.) as an assistant women’s basketball coach for the 2014-15 season. A 2014 graduate of Union College (N.Y.) with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Kenney will pursue a master’s degree at Trinity. During her collegiate career, she was a four-year standout for Dutchwomen on the court and served as team captain during the 2013-14 campaign.

“I am excited for the women’s basketball program to have our first ever full-time graduate assistant,” Trinity College women’s basketball Head Coach Wendy Davis said. “Brittney Kenney comes to us from Union College where she had a fantastic career as a student-athlete. She has a dynamic personality which will be a positive addition to our coaching staff. I am looking forward to having our team benefit from all the tremendous skills and qualities she has to offer. It will be a pleasure to work with her on a daily basis.”

Kenney will have many responsibilities, including but not limited to film exchange & film breakdown for both scouting and teaching purposes, recruiting, travel plans for the team and assisting with practice organization and implementation.
