Alumnus Jim Hayes inducts the graduating class of 2017 into the Alumni Association during his speech to them.

Alumnus Jim Hayes, a proud graduate of Saint Mary School’s Class of 1973, serves on the Advancement Committee. He is a driving force in Saint Mary School’s Alumni Association and inducted the graduating class of 2017 into the Alumni Association during his speech to them. As diplomas were handed out, he handed to them the Alumni Association Certificate. He also went on to tell the Class of 2017 how special their class is in that they are Saint Mary School’s 50th graduating class!

Mr. Hayes is also a graduate of West Haven’s Notre Dame high school; he received his mathematics degree from Boston College and an MBA from Fairfield University. He has worked for over 30 years providing software solutions to the financial services industries. Jim attributes his success to his long history of Catholic faith based education, and feels it has served him well not only in his personal life, but also in his professional life.

He asked of the students that as they begin their journeys throughout their life, to keep Saint Mary School in their thoughts, prayers, and most importantly to keep in touch with each other, and asks that God may bless them as they go out to make a difference!
