Connecticut Hospice Penalized Over Infection Rate, Injuries
A total of 15 hospitals in CT have been penalized for high infection rates, injuries.

BRANFORD, CT — Connecticut Hospice Inc. is one of 15 Connecticut hospitals that will lose 1 percent of their Medicare payments in 2018 due to high infection rates and injuries, reports the Connecticut Health Investigative Team.
Hospital officials in Connecticut told C-HIT that they are working to improve patient care while the Connecticut Center for Patient Safety said not enough is being done to make all hospitals in the state safer.
