Convicted Felon Leads Police On Pursuit, Crashes Car: Branford PD
Police said they also found a loaded stolen revolver, pot, and a substance believed to be Fentanyl in the car. He was held in lieu of bond.

BRANFORD, CT — A convicted felon led Branford Police in a pursuit early Thursday which ended up with the suspect crashing his car on the Interstate 95 on-ramp and making a run for it, police said Thursday afternoon.
At 1:19 a.m. Officer Burghardt tried to stop a Nissan Pathfinder on the Exit 53 on-ramp for motor vehicle violations. The vehicle matched the description of a car that had run from him on Aug. 21 and the license plate did not match the vehicle, police said. This vehicle once again failed to stop and the driver increased his speed in an attempt to elude the officer, police said.
The vehicle struck a telephone pole after losing control on the on-ramp. Adam G. Osoria, 36, of New Haven, jumped from the vehicle and ran into the heavy wooded area along the side of the highway on-ramp, police said.
