Cops: Teens Terrorized Branford Walmart Shoppers
Two Guilford teens threatened customers with toy guns and performed military style maneuvers in the store.

Branford police say Walmart customers were terrorized by two youths who threatened customers with toy guns and performed military-type maneuvers in the store.
Police Capt. Geoffrey Morgan said officers responded to the 120 Commercial Parkway business after 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
A store employee said “a customer was saying he was going to “snap,” pointing a toy gun at little kids while yelling, “headshot, headshot,” Morgan said.

Police Sgt. Stanley Konesky III, who supervised the incident, said Officer Rashaad Roach arrived and detained two teenage boys (19 and 17 years old) and determined they were involved in numerous disturbing, threatening acts against customers, police said.
“Their behavior included military type crawling throughout the store, sneaking up behind customers, tapping on the floor and yelling “bang” when the customer looked, Morgan said.. “They were also observed climbing on store racks, pretending to “pick people off,” yelling, “headshot.”

Konesky said that much of the teenagers’ actions were recorded on one of their cell phones.
Joseph O’Buck, 19, of Granite Road, Guilford was arrested and charged with first-degree threatening, breach of peace and risk of injury to a minor.
The second teenager, a 17 year old juvenile from Guilford, was referred to Juvenile Court for first-degree threatening and breach of peace. He was later released to his parents.
