Coronavirus Branford: Keep Kids Off Of Playground Equipment
Enjoy parks, beach, trails, but keep six feet between you and others. And no playground use.
BRANFORD, CT — While officials encourage folks to remain active and exercise regularly and take advantage of the town's parks, beaches, open spaces and trails, it's saying that "practicing social distancing is paramount, please continue to maintain a minimum of six feet between you and others."
The town also noted that children should not use the playground equipment at the public parks.
"So much is still unknown about the sustainability of this virus on objects. Out of an abundance of caution we are asking the public to avoid using the playground equipment," town officials said in a press release and on Facebook.
