Coronavirus Branford: National Guard Deliver Masks, Gloves
At the Montowese Street Armory, members of the National Guard coordinated delivery of more than 150,000 respirators, masks, and gloves.
BRANFORD, CT — Members of the Connecticut Army National Guard helped to ensure health care workers and first responders have the potentially life-saving personal protection equipment necessary to fight the battle against COVID-19 at the Montowese Street armory.
Gov. Ned Lamont tweeted out photos of guardsmen Thursday working to coordinate delivery of PPE statewide, including from the Branford armory.
Guardsmen delivered some 10,300 N-95 respirators, near 20,000 surgical masks, 121,000 gloves and 4,500 face shields.
