Coronavirus: Branford Schools Last Day, End-Of-School-Year Plans
The last day is June 15, whether or not there's a return to classrooms after May 20, as schools figure out graduation and other activities.

BRANFORD, CT — Schools announced that the last day of classes will be June 15, regardless if there's a return to classrooms or not.
In a letter to families on the Branford Public Schools website, superintendent Hamlet Hernandez noted that while schools are for now closed until May 20, an announcement on that date is expected from Gov. Ned Lamont in the coming days or weeks.
In the meantime, Hernandez says the district has "modified our school calendar to incorporate periodic days off for students and you. This maintains student engagement by avoiding long periods of no connection to school."

"School leaders are actively engaged in discussions about how to handle traditional end-of-the-year events. With this in mind, school staff are exploring new ways by which we can honor our students’ achievements. Our intention is to provide safe opportunities to celebrate the many milestones they have reached."
