Cosgrove: Small Business Energy Advantage Offers Money, Energy Savings
Branford's First Selectman encourages local businesses to take "advantage of the many energy efficiency solutions and cost savings."
BRANFORD, CT —Branford's Clean Energy Committee will receive a grant as part of the Energize Connecticut Community Partnership Initiative to support its outreach to the business community, First Selectman James Cosgrove said.
Eversource and Southern Connecticut Gas are Energize CT sponsors, he said.
"The partnership offers Branford money and energy savings through the Small Business Energy Advantage and municipal buildings programs," according to Cosgrove.

In a letter to business owners, Cosgrove wrote: "I encourage you to contact the CEC to take advantage of the many energy efficiency solutions and cost savings available through this program."
Interested businesses are "strongly encouraged" to contact the CEC early in their projects to maximize planning efficiency as well as available incentives, he said.

"Thousands of businesses across Connecticut have saved money and energy with this program and so can you," Cosgrove wrote.
