Costco to Submit Initial Conceptual Plan for Proposed Store in Branford

This will be Costco's first public step for the proposed development.

Costco is expected to submit a Planned Development District concept to Branford’s Planning and Zoning Commission for a proposed store in town, the Sound reports.

According to the Sound, submitting the PDD will be the first public step for Costco putting them on the agenda for a public PZC meeting. The proposed store would be located at 43-acre East Main Street accessed by I-95 at Exit 6.

Acting Town Planner Richard Stoeker told The Sound the best approach for Costco is to begin with a master conceptual plan for the entire site.
