Creating the Perfect "Family" Room

The ladies of DesignWish did it again! For the fourth year in a row, a deserving family has been treated to a home makeover, in just a handful of weeks by the all-volunteer design team DesignWish and executed in just 24 hours.

Deb Roberts of Stony Creek, Branford and her four sons arrived home Thursday evening to find two rooms in their home completely re-done. The Roberts were chosen from many worthy applicants because of their unique story. The family lost their father – Deb's husband, Stephen Roberts  – to cancer and the makeover was intended to be a renewal of sorts for the family. Much was changed with many donors from the shoreline making the seemingly impossible, possible.
