CTBestApts Performs Energy Audit to Help Renters Save Money this Winter
CTBestApts recently performed an energy audit on its Branford apartments at Montoya and Hamden apartments at Seramonte.
In order to help renters save money this winter, CTBestApts recently performed an energy audit at its rentals in Branford at Montoya and in Hamden at Seramonte. Following the audit, changes have been made to make apartments more energy efficient, saving renters money on monthly energy bills.

During the energy assessment, blower door tests were performed to pinpoint drafts and air leaks within the building envelope.

After this audit, CTBestApts has changed out light bulbs, checked and sealed air gaps in doors and windows, and installed insulation in the attic space. These updates will ensure that renters will not be wasting energy or money.
With gas heat paid by the tenants at Montoya, renters should see big savings in this Branford community. Additionally, residents of the Highlands, Villas, G Building and Townhouses at Seramonte will notice a huge impact on monthly energy bills.
