The talks in Branford, North Branford & East Haven will explore climate change in the region, ways to slow it and its effect on health.

BRANFORD, CT —In conjunction with Yale University, Albertus Magnus College, and UConn, the East Shore District Health Department will be holding “Community Conversations” on the effects of climate change at local libraries, community centers and virtually. The events start July 19.
Each will include a brief presentation on the state of climate change in the region and its effects on health, followed by a discussion about residents’ concerns and questions.
"We will discuss what local changes we can make to slow climate change and its effects and to prepare for changes that may come," ESDHD . We will also be raffling off a Climate Friendly Gift Kit to one lucky participant at each venue.
