Concussions in Youth Sports- What You Need to Know

Concussions in athletes are a growing problem. Younger athletes are at greater risk for issues related to concussions because their developing brains are more susceptible to injury. Properly educated parents, coaches and teachers can help to recognize symptoms of concussion and seek appropriate medical care for their young athlete.

Learn more about the recognition and management of concussions in youth sports at an informational seminar lead by Dr. Stephanie Arlis-Mayor, Primary Care Sports Medicine physician with the Center for Orthopaedics.

Our goal is to get athletes safely back to their sport after concussion.
