Doug Jones, a Connecticut native, expresses his passion for music through his compositions and artistic performances. He attended the University of Hartford and received a Bachelor in Science in Communications and later returned to the prestigious Hartt School of Music for a degree in Music Education.
His career spans over 30 years performing in different venues in the Northeast from the Hartford Jazz Festival to clubs in Newport, Manhattan and Boston as well as South America.
The Doug Jones Group has shared the stage with Tower of Power, Marion Meadows and Bob Baldwin. Doug has also been involved with projects that have opened for Paul Butterfield, Robert Cray, Pat Benatar, The Outlaws and Van Morrison. Doug has also performed several times with The Fabulous Rhinestones.
