Faye Green has been entertaining crowds in the New Haven area for close to 30 years. During that time she has also been on the road opening for national acts such as The Average White Band, Melba Moore, Tower of Power and Tavaras. You may have also seen Faye Green in the city at many New York clubs including The ApolloTheater and Nell Carters. Faye has been voted Best Jazz Vocalist by The New Haven Advocate numerous times. Her various duos and groups, most notably “Faye and the Funky Allstars” have been voted Best Group several times over the years. If a night of Etta James (At Last), Nat King Cole (Nature Boy), Sam Cooke (A Change is Gonna Come) and other classics mixed with contemporary and funked up renditions sounds good, then you must see Faye Green!
