Julia's Run

The thirteenth annual Julia's Run will take place on Sunday, April 15 this year.  Proceeds will benefit LEAP's Children's Program and Youth Development Program.

Julia's Run commemorates the late Julia Rusinek, Yale student and track star whose love of children
inspired this annual race and fundraiser on behalf of LEAP.

For 20 years, LEAP has been supplying disadvantaged children and youth with tools to empower them to break the cycle of poverty: academic and social enrichment activities and leadership opportunities not readily available in low-income neighborhoods, delivered through a network of consistent, wholesome mentoring relationships.  LEAP children and youth will be participating in the race, so your support will truly have an immediate impact on our kids!

Registration takes place from 7:45 to 9:45 a.m. near Woolsey Hall.  The Children's Fun Run starts at 9:30, and
the main Run/Walk (4 miles) starts at 10 a.m. After the race, there will be awards, refreshments, and a raffle.
