Young Actors Workshop

We are pleased to announce that Guest Artist, Emily Webster will be presenting a workshop for 4th-8th grade students who wish to focus on the principals of good acting.

Through theatre and improv games, student will focus on character development, storyline, relationships and the choices actors need to make to accurately portray their character. Each student will work on a monologue or scene study.

Emily is a thirty-year veteran of the entertainment industry she retired from the trade at the grand age of 17 and decided to shift her focus to the other side of the camera. She attended Bennington College in Vermont and the American Musical Dramatic Academy in NY.

In Los Angeles she taught for Beverly Hills High School's Drama Department, The Academy of Arts and Sciences, TVI Actors Studio , In The Act, and The Actor's Network to name just a few. She currently teaches at the Performing Arts Center of Connecticut in Trumbull, the OddFellows Playhouse in Middletown, and the Hartford Children’s Theater.
