Firefighters, With Guilford, East Haven Helping, Fought 2 Fires Monday
No one hurt in near-simultaneous house fires on Creek Court in Indian Neck and in the Stratton Woods complex off of Brushy Plain Road.

BRANFORD, CT —Firefighters fought two near-simultaneous structure fires Monday.
One was a fire on Creek Court in the Indian Neck area. The Guilford Fire Department was called in to assist.
The second was in the Stratton Woods complex off of Brushy Plain Road. An attic fire, the East Haven Fire Department was called in to assist in fighting that blaze.

The American Red Cross is helping the Creek Court family, displaced as a result of the fire.

"Thanks to our mutual aid partners, Guilford Fire Department and East Haven Fire Department for the assistance," the Branford Fire Department wrote on Facebook.
Firefighters said no injuries were reported, and the cause of both fires is currently under investigation.
