Branford Firefighters Rally Around Little Boy Fighting Health Battle

Little Christian is a young firefighter-to-be who is being treated at Yale Children’s Hospital. His fellow firefighting brothers and sisters are asking the community to post pictures of fire trucks and crews to help him feel better.

Tom “WeatherDog Coon” wrote on the CT Fire Calls Facebook page: “Hi everyone. I know this is not fire call related, but a little boy from [Hamden] is fighting a battle at Yale. All he wanted today was his toy fire trucks. This page was made by a firefighter to send this boy photos of fire and EMS vehicles to put a smile on his face.”

In just one day since setting up the page, it has gotten nearly 600 “likes.”
